Guruvayur temple is the popular Hindu temple located in the town of Guruvayur in Kerala. The full name of the temple is the Guruvayur Sri Vishnu Temple dedicated to the Lord Guruvayurappan.

Lord Guruvayurappan, is the Avatar of the Lord Sri Vishnu. It is the four armed affiliations of the Hindus lord Sri Vishnu. It is very important and worship place for the Hindu religious.

The dress code for entering into the temple is so strict. Dress code for boy is simply wearing a short without a shirt and chest area is totally open, for an adult person there is Mundu dress only on waist without covering the chest. Only a small amount of cloths is accepted on chest. Four girls shorts and skirts are not allowed, only Shari is allowed. But from some time, now the final dress code for women is Shalwar Kameez.
