Unni appam : Kerala traditional sweets
Unni appam recipe is made with either yeast or without yeast. Traditionally appam are fermented with toddy which is a local alcoholic drink made from the palm flower and coconut flower. Appams are served with the Vegetable stew, Kadala curry, Potato stew, Vegetable korma, coconut chutney and sweetened milk. The ingredients used to prepare the appam is sona masoori, basmati, kolam, boiled rice, idli rice, cooked rice, coconut milk, sugar, water and yeast.
